DESCRIPTION -
This specification covers composition, requirements and method of testing for glycol based recoil fluid DAFC-60 for use in a specific type of large calibre gun. DAFC-50 shall be in the form of clear, transparent yellowish green fluoroscent liquid free from visible impurities.DAFC-50 shall be 50% pure ethylene glycol mixture in water with anti-corrosive additions. DAFC-30 shall be in the form of clear, transparent reddish fluorescent liquid free from visible impurities.DAFC-30 shall be 30% pure ethylene glycol mixture in water with anti-corrosive additives and both shall be as per DMSRDE technical know how supplied through NDRC, New Delhi. .
